Step 1: Always Start Your Morning with Worship and God’s Presence (Worship and Dedication)

I’m not talking about routine prayer; I’m talking about whom you worship. From the moment we wake up, we worship someone or something.

Never try to fit God into your schedule—plan your schedule around God.

First, this sets the tone for your entire day. You don’t know what might happen, and you could miss opportunities and open doors.

Most people pray to avoid attacks, forgetting that Satan is a thief. His first goal is to steal—whether it’s God’s Word, strength, opportunities, or open doors.

The Father wants to teach you how to protect and keep what He has prepared for you.

We must also be morally, emotionally, and spiritually ready for real attacks from the enemy.

Step 2: Be Mindful of What You Feed Yourself Throughout the Day

Pay close attention to what you watch, imagine, and feel.

Most of us start the day by immediately opening social media. From the very first minutes, your mind is filled with information that will shape your thoughts, emotions, and imagination.

This world is full of filth, lust, and perversion, so we must be extremely careful with what we consume mentally. The mind is the engine of our life and destiny.

I come from a generation that grew up without social media. I could never have imagined that it would become one of the most powerful tools used by the spirit of this world against this generation.

I am amazed at how this generation has access to hundreds of times more resources than mine ever did, yet they live in depression, disappointment, and oppression. Social media creates a false image of success, beauty, and status.

Many people spend their entire lives comparing themselves to others.

In other words, you are constantly demotivating yourself by measuring yourself against someone else.

Step 3: Gratitude

This generation has almost lost the ability to be grateful. Every day, they demand more and more from the Heavenly Father but rarely thank Him for what they already have.

They are dissatisfied with what they possess, acting like spoiled children who demand more and blame God when they don’t receive it.

Interestingly, studies show that gratitude releases more positive internal energy than any other action. People who practice gratitude consistently have a much better and higher mood than those who don’t.

I encourage you, right now, to thank the Heavenly Father for everything you have—for who you are, for your health, for His protection, and for your family.

And never forget to thank Him for absolutely everything.

Step 4: Stop Complaining

To be honest, as a pastor, I am tired of constantly hearing people complain.

Complaints about God—not enough money, no friends, no spouse, bad weather.
Complaints about their boss, their husband or wife, their children, and children complaining about their parents. Complaints about traffic jams or red lights when they are in a hurry.
Complaints about their face, weight, or height.

Some people start their morning not with gratitude and worship but with complaints about life.

 (Ephesians 4:29-32)
“Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God in Christ forgave you.”

Remember, every day is a gift from the Heavenly Father.

Step 5: Remember and Declare God’s Promises and His Word in Your Life.

Understand this—when Satan tempted Jesus in the wilderness, he attacked Him with what was written in Scripture.

God’s children will face the same attacks from the devil. That is why we absolutely must know God’s Word and His promises for our lives.

Many people lose their passion and the fire of God because they have believed the lies of Satan and did not resist him.

Satan has convinced you that you are nobody. But understand this—if you were truly nobody, Satan wouldn’t bother attacking you. He only targets those who carry God’s promises and calling.

 (James 4:7)
“Therefore, submit to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”

Step 6: Fasting and Prayer

In my personal walk with God, this is one of the most crucial steps because it strengthens my relationship with Him.

Fasting is a reset for my spirit; it brings absolute clarity to my mind and thinking process.

Through fasting, I receive wisdom and direction for my next steps. I don’t guess—I know exactly what I need to do.

Fasting is where I subdue my ego, my flesh, and my ambitions.

Only through fasting and prayer do I come to true humility before my Creator and God.

Unfortunately, statistics show that most Christians do not fast at all, and their prayer life averages no more than 18 minutes a day.

Do you really think that with such little dedication, we can stand against the forces of darkness, which work 24/7 to destroy us?

A part-time prayer life will never defeat a full-time enemy.

Now is the time for God’s children to step up to the next level of dedication.

May our Heavenly Father bless you!
